Pet Food: Pedigree and Whiskas Products Are More Expensive

Pet owners are feeling a new strain on their budgets as the prices of pet food rise. For instance, the price of a 3 kg pack of Pedigree Adult, previously sold for Rs 646, has now reached nearly Rs 700. The 400 g can of Pedigree Homestyle has increased from Rs 110 to Rs 116.40. Cat products are not spared either: the 80 g pouch of Whiskas Junior Tuna now costs Rs 39.70, up from Rs 34, while the 450 g pack has jumped from Rs 168 to Rs 199. Here are the new prices.
