Healthcare Staff: After Years of Waiting, Health Ministry Finally Accelerates Recruitment
Recruitment in public hospitals, a contentious issue for several years, is finally experiencing a turning point. After a decade of hiring being done "slowly and sparingly," the Ministry of Health has announced the training of 300 aspiring nurses.
This is a breath of fresh air for a healthcare system under pressure, states Keshav Jhokun, Senior Adviser and Head of Communications at the Ministry. "These trainees will be trained and fully operational in three years."
