Caña: The Renewal of Padel at Beau Plan

The Mon Rocher padel club in Beau Plan is entering a new phase. Now renamed Caña, its new goal is to embody the friendly, community-oriented, and dynamic spirit of this increasingly popular sport. The club's new identity was officially launched on Wednesday, October 30, much to the delight of its members and numerous padel enthusiasts in the region.

Indeed, the Mon Rocher padel club has undergone a transformation as part of its rebranding: new colors, revamped spaces, and, most importantly, a reimagined experience centered around the fun and friendly spirit of the sport. A mobile app now allows for easier court reservations, and the center will soon feature four new indoor courts, enabling padel players to enjoy their favorite sport without worrying about the weather.

The club's new name, derived from "caña de azúcar" (Spanish for sugar cane), pays homage to the historical roots of Mon Rocher, one of the country’s historic sugar mills, as well as to the Spanish origins of padel. This term also evokes the spirit of camaraderie associated with sharing a "caña," a small 20cl beer served in Spain, symbolizing friendly moments shared after a match.

This is indeed the essence of Caña: to become a place for sharing, reunions, and unforgettable memories built around a common passion. "Beyond the purely sporting aspect, Caña aims to be a place where people meet, share, and build connections while maintaining the unique identity and historical legacy of Mon Rocher. We plan to launch many events, tournaments, and friendly competitions soon to give everyone the chance to fully experience this spirit of sharing and conviviality," emphasizes Emeric Vigier de Latour, Senior Manager – Communication & Marketing.
