Public Consultation on Pension Reform
The government has established a Commission of Experts on pension reform, as announced in the 2025-2026 Budget. This was revealed in a statement issued on November 7th.
The purpose of this body is to conduct a comprehensive review of the pension system and make recommendations for its reform.
The Commission will focus on restructuring the National Pensions Fund (NPF), which is set to replace the Generalized Social Contribution (CSG). It will also provide its expertise to define a long-term strategy ensuring the financial viability of the entire pension system.
In this context, the Commission invites all interested parties, including the general public, to submit their proposals in writing.
