In Vietnam: Typhoon Kalmaegi Leaves Five Dead After Devastating the Philippines
Typhoon Kalmaegi has continued its destructive path. After claiming at least 188 lives in the Philippines, it has now resulted in the deaths of five people as it struck Vietnam, according to official reports from Friday, November 7.
Kalmaegi made landfall on Thursday evening and is rapidly moving inland, weakening to a tropical storm. However, heavy rains are still expected across much of Vietnam's central coastline.
