IIHL–Invesco: Mauritius as a Gateway to Global Indian Finance

The Mauritian group IndusInd International Holdings Limited (IIHL), the promoter of IndusInd Bank, and the American manager Invesco Ltd have finalized a joint venture in asset management in India, following the acquisition of all regulatory approvals. The agreement stipulates that IIHL will hold 60% of the capital of Invesco Asset Management India (IAMI), while Invesco retains 40%. Both entities will act as co-sponsors of the fund according to Indian regulations.
