Direct Flight from Rome to Mauritius: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at SSR International Airport

This morning, ITA Airways launched a new direct flight between Mauritius and Rome Fiumicino. There are now two flights per week (Fridays and Sundays from Rome, Saturdays and Mondays from Mauritius). The journey will take approximately 11 hours.

The inaugural flight was celebrated at Mauritius Airport with an official ceremony attended by ministers and other representatives from the aviation sector. This is great news for tourism and exchanges between the two countries.
