Ehsan Juman: 'We Stand by Our Leader'

Ehsan Juman stated, "Regardless of what happens, it is the leader who decides. We stand by our leader; we are behind him," in response to a question from the Défi Media Group on Sunday regarding tensions within the government between the Labour Party (PTr) and the MMM.

"The tensions are behind us. I don't know if there are any remaining," Juman added. He made these comments following a wreath-laying ceremony at the War Memorial of the Royal College Curepipe as part of Remembrance Day 2025 - a ceremony marked by the absence of the MMM's leadership amid ongoing disputes between the mauves and the PTr within the government.

When questioned about this absence, the Labour MP replied, "I don't know why they weren't present. But an MMM MP [Govinden Venkatasami, Ed.] was there."

He further stated, "We are calm. The government's goal remains the same: to work towards improving the lives of Mauritians."
