Sohail Sesungkur, the son of former Financial Services Minister Sudhir Sesungkur, is making headlines again. Previously in the news for taking his father's car without permission, he was found a few days later. This time, he was apprehended at Plaisance Airport.
He was arrested for possession of a firearm, a syringe, and for driving under the influence of narcotics. According to our information, he was driving a rental car and trying to access the airport's VIP Lounge when he was subjected to a routine check.
During his arrest, Sohail Sesungkur reportedly told the police that he was there to meet a "high-profile individual." A Preliminary Drug Test came back positive for the 26-year-old resident of Moka.
A search of his vehicle revealed a syringe and a firearm, which is possibly a collector's item. The item was seized and sent to the ballistic department for analysis. The young man has been placed in custody awaiting his appearance in court on Monday, November 10.
