Reform of Local Authorities: Selective Waste Sorting Planned for 2027

A workshop dedicated to the reform of local authorities, organized by the Local Authorities Employees Union (LAEU), took place in Balaclava on November 6. The Minister of Local Authorities, Ranjiv Woochit, along with Junior Minister Fawzi Allymun and representatives from municipal and district councils, were present. Minister Woochit announced the implementation of a national waste sorting system starting in 2027, which will require significant investments.
