Africa Aquatics Junior and Senior Open Water Championships 2025: Bronze Medal for Kyllian Augustine in Mombasa

The young Mauritian swimmer Kyllian Augustine, 16 years old, won the bronze medal at the Africa Junior and Senior Open Water Swimming Championships held at the end of October in Mombasa, Kenya. Thanks to the points accumulated by both him and Loïc Larue, Mauritius also secured 3rd place in the team standings.

Competing on October 21 in the 16-17 year age category, Kyllian Augustine completed the 5 km race in 1 hour 06 minutes and 11 seconds, finishing behind Egyptian swimmer Ahmed Samir Mohamed (1 hour 05 minutes).
