Arms and Drugs: Sohail Sesungkur Arrested at the VIP Area of the Airport

Sohail Sesungkur, 26, was arrested on Sunday at the airport for illegal possession of a firearm. He appeared in Mahébourg court on Monday, November 10, charged with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of a firearm without a permit. He was released on bail of Rs 11,000 and a debt acknowledgment of Rs 50,000.

The son of a former Minister of Financial Services allegedly attempted to access the VIP area without authorization, claiming he was there to pick up a high-ranking official.
