Libyan Trial: French Justice Orders Release of Former President Nicolas Sarkozy

Nicolas Sarkozy is set to be released from prison. The Paris Court of Appeal ordered, on Monday, November 10, the release of the former French president, who has been incarcerated since October 21, 2025, at La Santé following his conviction in the case regarding Libyan financing of his presidential campaign. "Prison is tough, it's very tough, it's certainly difficult for any inmate, I would even say it's exhausting," stated the former president.
