Mamy Ravatomanga Case: Me Junaid Haroon Fakim's Hearing Postponed to This Wednesday

The case involving Me Junaid Haroon Fakim, former commissioner of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC), was unable to be heard on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Rose-Hill court. At the start of the hearing, Magistrate Denis Jonathan Vellien announced that due to a "challenge" filed by Me Junaid Haroon Fakim's lawyers against Magistrate Arun Ruhomally, the case has been postponed to Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Me Junaid Haroon Fakim was not present in court as he is still admitted to C-Care Wellkin Clinic. During the previous hearing, the Chief Investigator of the FCC, Khemrajsingh Jokhoo, stated that the lawyer and former commissioner of the FCC is being monitored by several doctors, including Dr. Muhammad Feizal Timol.

The former FCC commissioner is facing two provisional charges of "Public official using his office for gratification" and "breach of confidentiality" under the FCC Act. These offenses, according to the FCC, are alleged to have been committed on October 14, 2025, in Quatre-Bornes.
