Claire Le Lay-Commins Dismissed from the Presidency of MTPA

Claire Le Lay-Commins has been dismissed from her position as president of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) on Tuesday, November 11. This decision was made by the Minister of Tourism, Richard Duval, who exercised his prerogatives in this matter. The reasons for this dismissal are currently unknown. Claire Le Lay-Commins, who was appointed as the chairperson of the MTPA's board of directors last January, declined to comment when contacted by RadioPlus.
