L'Artigiano: The Italian Products Specialist Opens in Rivière Noire

L'Artigiano, a premium importer and distributor of Italian food products and a member of the APTIS Group, is expanding its footprint to Rivière Noire.

Following the success of its store at Mont Choisy Mall and its first franchise, which opened last January in Telfair, Moka, L'Artigiano has partnered with Tutto Bene Ltd to launch a third store at the Ruisseau Créole shopping center in Rivière Noire.

The inauguration of the new outlet took place last Thursday in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, attended by numerous guests including APTIS Group CEO Oscar Mamet and other members of the APTIS management team. As usual, L'Artigiano transported its guests on a true culinary journey, celebrating the richness of Italian gastronomy, quality craftsmanship, and culture.

With this new franchise, the company confirms its ambition to expand its presence in the Mauritian market while offering customers in the West a unique gastronomic experience, blending refinement, authenticity, and the Italian way of life.

For L'Artigiano's CEO, Daniela Quaranta, this also demonstrates the company’s desire to connect more closely with its customers as it celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. "Today, we can proudly say that L'Artigiano is a well-established and sustainable brand in Mauritius. Until the early 2020s, our clientele was primarily composed of professionals in the hospitality and catering sectors. Gradually, our products, known for their quality and authenticity, have also found their way into Mauritian homes. However, with only one store at Mont Choisy, we were not accessible to everyone. Our partnership with Tutto Bene Ltd, which manages our franchises in Moka and Rivière Noire, came at the right time. It allows us to further develop our presence among individuals. We are excited to offer customers in the West a unique selection of charcuterie, cheese, truffle products, fresh pasta, and artisanal desserts, among others," Daniela Quaranta expresses her delight.

She also acknowledged the dedication and contribution of her partner, Tutto Bene Ltd, to the success of this venture. In addition to products from the Pedrazzoli brand – Zia maxi salami, black pig padus, and truffle mortadella – customers will also find artisanal pasta from La Fabbrica della Pasta and Gragnano pasta, Garofalo.

L'Artigiano also offers a variety of cheeses from the Romagna Terre brand, renowned for their unique aging methods – wooden boxes, vine leaves, herbs, and flowers, as well as award-winning cheeses like Pecorino Giorgio I, made from sheep's milk aged with juniper berries and balsamic vinegar from Modena, and the Re di Bufala erborinato al tè rosso, made from buffalo milk and flavored with powdered red tea. Not to mention the Flamigni and Balocco panettoni.
