Serious Accident in Grand-Baie: 19-Year-Old Motorcyclist Severely Injured

A serious road accident occurred on Tuesday evening on Sottise Road in Grand-Baie, near a bakery. A Suzuki car collided with a motorcycle that did not have a license plate.

The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old resident of Lower Vale, was severely injured. He first received first aid at the Grand-Baie clinic before being rushed to a clinic in Curepipe for further treatment.

The driver of the vehicle and his passenger were also injured. As tensions rose among the bystanders at the scene, several police units had to intervene to restore order.
