A routine traffic stop turned into a nightmare for a driver on Monday evening in L’Aventure. The 31-year-old claims that Rs 4,500 went missing after officers searched his vehicle without permission. An internal investigation has been launched.

The incident reportedly occurred around 9:55 PM on the royal road in L’Aventure while the driver was behind the wheel of a black pickup truck. He was intercepted by a patrol for a routine check.
