Economy: Bhunjun Group and its Subsidiary Beta Oil Take Control of Engen Mauritius

The Bhunjun Group, through its subsidiary Beta Oil Terminal Ltd, has finalized the acquisition of Engen Petroleum (Mauritius) Limited after receiving approval from the Competition Commission. The announcement was made via a press release on Wednesday, November 12. With this significant operation, Beta Oil becomes the first Mauritian company to operate a national network of service stations, a sector previously dominated by multinationals.

With this transaction, Beta Oil aims to enhance local market competition and provide better services to consumers.
