New Court Appearance for Mamy Ravatomanga Scheduled for This Thursday
Mamy Ravatomanga's court appearance is set for Thursday morning, November 13th, at the Port-Louis court.
However, the Malagasy businessman remains admitted to the intensive care unit of Victoria Hospital. He underwent angioplasty last Monday due to heart complications.
Mamy Ravatomanga is facing two provisional charges of money laundering and a charge of conspiracy.
The investigation particularly focuses on fund transfers between Madagascar and Mauritius, as well as suspicions of attempting to influence former Financial Crimes Commission Commissioner Junaid Fakim.
