Employees of Air Mauritius are finally seeing a glimmer of hope with the appointment of Megh Pillay as head of Airport Holdings Limited (AHL), a decision that Radhakrishna Sadien describes as a positive sign for the future of the staff.

Last week, the union negotiator, accompanied by members of the Air Mauritius Staff Association, met with the executive director of AHL.

This meeting addressed several outstanding issues, including ongoing industrial relations problems within the airline.
