Judex Rampaul Calls for the Urgent Creation of a Fishermen's Card Committee

Judex Rampaul, the secretary of the fishermen's union, called this morning on Minister Arvin Boolell during a press conference to urgently establish a committee to address the situation regarding fishermen's cards.

He emphasized that a failure has persisted within the ministry for over 40 years and that the situation has worsened since last year.

According to him, many individuals have obtained fishermen's licenses without following the required procedures. He has therefore demanded the resignation of the officials responsible for issuing these permits.
