Sainte-Croix: Indoor Cannabis Cultivation Discovered, Rs 890,000 Worth of Drugs Seized

Authorities from the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) conducted an operation on Saturday, November 15, uncovering an indoor cannabis cultivation facility on Nicolay Road in Sainte-Croix.

Led by Inspector Lepois, the squad found a specially designed room containing 14 cannabis plants. Approximately 700 grams of cannabis had already been harvested. The setup was equipped with air extractors, an electrical ventilation system, and appropriate lighting fixtures.

The street value of the seized drugs is estimated at Rs 890,000. A 36-year-old man, the cultivator, has been arrested.
