Electrical Safety: CEB Warns Against Unauthorized or Unregistered Photovoltaic Systems

An increasing number of households with unauthorized solar photovoltaic systems are connected to the Central Electricity Board (CEB) distribution network. The CEB reminds that anyone wishing to operate a grid-connected energy source must obtain written permission from the Utility Regulatory Authority (URA) and the CEB, in accordance with the Electricity (Safety, Quality and Continuity) Regulations of 2022. No one is allowed to install such systems without proper authorization.
