Land Expropriation: The Land Research Monitoring Unit Accused of Delaying

On November 25, 2011, the Truth and Justice Commission (CVJ) submitted its final report, consisting of six volumes, which unveiled historical injustices, land dispossessions, and human rights violations that have marked the history of the island. Fourteen years later, promises of reparations and restitution are still struggling to materialize for many claimants.
