Mission ‘ExPLOI’ in the Indian Ocean: ‘Plastic Odyssey’ Highlights the Urgency to Combat Plastic

After a notable first stop in Port Louis in April, the Plastic Odyssey team docked in Mauritius from November 19 to 24 to share insights from their regional expedition as part of the ExPLOI program of the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), supported by the French Development Agency and the French Global Environment Facility. This return comes at a strategic time as the Mauritius Plastic Pollution Framework is being developed, aiming to tackle the pressing issue of plastic pollution.
