Quatre-Bornes: Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit by Quad

Quatre-Bornes: A 30-year-old man has been admitted to the intensive care unit at Victoria Hospital after being struck by a quad on Sunday afternoon.

The victim was riding a motorcycle with a friend when two quads suddenly blocked their path for an unknown reason. The young man then dismounted from the motorcycle.

According to his friend, who witnessed the incident, the driver of one of the quads intentionally ran into the victim, causing a violent fall. He even attempted to run him over before fleeing the scene.

The motive for this attack, which could be reclassified as attempted murder, remains unclear at this time.

Although the area is not monitored by Safe City cameras, the police confirmed that the two quads were seen in the vicinity shortly before the attack. The drivers have not yet been identified.

The investigation is being conducted by the CID of Quatre-Bornes.
