After a Rally: Port-Louis Abandoned - Between Incivility and Negligence
Yesterday morning, Port-Louis resembled a true dump. Used tires were abandoned along the sidewalks, overturned metal barrels were scattered, and makeshift equipment was left behind as if the city had been hastily deserted. Even the base of the statue of Sir William Newton in Place d'Armes was littered with garbage. While workers were visibly trying to catch up on the cleanup, it was clear that a rally had taken place on Sunday. The question remains: what now?
