SSRN Hospital: Medications, Meant to be Strictly Controlled, Stolen
A concerning theft has been reported in the lithotripsy department of the SSRN hospital's cardiac center. Specifically, ten ampoules of pethidine, a synthetic opioid analgesic that is supposed to be strictly regulated, have been reported stolen. The disappearance of this substance, classified as a dangerous drug, was noted on Friday, November 21. According to preliminary investigation details, the theft is believed to have occurred between 8:10 AM and 3:10 PM on the same day.
