Parliament: Over 13,600 Drinking Water Requests Pending, Says Patrick Assirvaden

In Parliament, it was revealed that there are 13,612 requests for new drinking water connections that have been pending since 2020. This information was provided by the Minister of Public Services, Patrick Assirvaden, in response to MP Kaviraj Rookny, the third elected representative from Constituency No. 5 (Pamplemousses/Triolet) during the session on Tuesday, November 25.

Patrick Assirvaden acknowledged that the situation cannot be resolved immediately and indicated that he has requested the development of a plan to address these pending cases.
