Collapse of BAI: Dawood Rawat Provides New Evidence to the FCC
Dawood Rawat reappeared on Tuesday, November 25, at the headquarters of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) in Réduit. The former president of the now-defunct BAI group came to provide a "further statement" following his allegations regarding the conglomerate's collapse.
Upon leaving the FCC premises, he claimed to have submitted what he calls evidence of "dishonesty" involving actors from both the public and private sectors.
Three weeks ago, Dawood Rawat had already visited the FCC, where he denounced the actions of Sattar Hajee Abdoula, the then-administrator of BAI, following the group's downfall, of which he was the Chairman Emeritus.
