Parliament: Navin Ramgoolam: "The blocking of social networks was an electoral maneuver"

In Parliament during the Prime Minister’s Question Time (PMQT) yesterday, MP Roshan Jhummun questioned Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam about the reasons behind the suspension of social networks on November 1, 2024, as well as the economic and social impacts of this decision. The head of government accused the previous administration of acting in an "irrational" and "politically motivated" manner just days before the general elections.
