Heroin Importation: Ugandan Mule Sentenced to 27 Years in Prison

A sentence of 27 years in penal servitude has been handed down to Christine Eudu Amayo, an Ugandan mule. The ruling was delivered yesterday, Tuesday, November 25, by Judge Iqbal Maghooa. The Ugandan mule pleaded guilty to importing 1000.103 grams of heroin into Mauritius, valued at Rs 15 million.
