Embezzled Funds: The FCC Returns Over Rs 15 Million to MauBank

On Monday, the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) returned a total of Rs 15,058,918.21 to MauBank, representing over 90% of the funds embezzled in an internal fraud case that occurred in 2018. This marks one of the first significant recoveries made by the FCC's Asset Recovery Unit since it became operational. The official ceremony, held at the FCC headquarters in Réduit Triangle, featured the signing of an agreement between the Commission and the bank.
