Agricultural Modernization: A High-Tech Greenhouse of 1 km² Set to Begin Operations Soon

On Wednesday, November 19, the Food and Agricultural Research and Extension Institute (FAREI) and the GMD SAS Group, based in Réunion, signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a pilot agricultural farm under a greenhouse in Mauritius, incorporating soilless and vertical farming methods.

The signing ceremony took place at the FAREI premises in Réduit, attended by several dignitaries, including Arvin Boolell, the Minister of Agro-Industry and Food Security.
