In Baie-du-Tombeau: 18-Year-Old Arrested with Synthetic Drugs and Cannabis

An 18-year-old has been arrested in Baie-du-Tombeau during an operation by the ADSU on Wednesday, November 26. Upon seeing the police, he allegedly threw two packets of synthetic drugs into a bushy area next to his home.

Over 360 grams of illicit substances were seized, along with cannabis, an electronic scale, and a suspicious liquid found in his bedroom. The synthetic drugs and the liquid are estimated to be worth Rs 400,000. The police also confiscated Rs 4,075, suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking.

The suspect is currently in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
