Kishore Beegoo Resigns from AHL and Its Subsidiaries

Kishore Beegoo has submitted his resignation as the Director of Airport Holdings Limited (AHL) and all its subsidiaries, including Mauritius Duty Free Paradise, Ground Handling Services (Mauritius) Ltd, Mauritius Estate Development Corp, Mauritius Helicopter Ltd, Rodrigues Duty Free Paradise, and Pointe Coton Resort.

In his letter addressed to the company secretary on Wednesday, November 26, Beegoo explained that his decision follows disagreements regarding the appointment of the "Executive Chairman" position. During the board meeting on November 7, 2025, he emphasized that the board should exercise caution before assigning this role to someone who has initiated legal proceedings against one of AHL's subsidiaries, Air Mauritius Ltd, for an amount of approximately Rs 38 million. He also requested that the salary and benefits associated with the position be reduced by about 45%, bringing it to around Rs 810,000 per month, and that the signing of the employment contract be contingent upon these adjustments.

Furthermore, Kishore Beegoo clarified that throughout his tenure at the concerned companies, he never received any compensation, as his commitment was voluntary.
