Diplomacy: Sheila Bappoo: "We Will Do Everything to Strengthen Historical Ties with India"

The new High Commissioner of Mauritius to India, Sheila Bappoo, stated her intent to "strengthen the historical ties" between Port Louis and New Delhi following the presentation of her letters of credence on Tuesday. In a statement to the press, she expressed her desire to deepen a "privileged and multidimensional relationship" covering areas such as health, energy, transportation, defense, education, digital technology, maritime security, and exchanges between the peoples.
