Prince Harry's Ex, Chelsy Davy, Plans to Move to Mauritius with Her Family
Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend, is planning to move to Mauritius with her family.
On November 27, 2025, it was reported that Chelsy Davy, 40, who had a tumultuous seven-year relationship with Harry that ended in 2011, revealed that she exchanged vows with Norfolk hotelier Sam Cutmore-Scott, also 40, on a beach in Mauritius.
While the Sussexes have settled in California, Meghan's homeland, Chelsy and Sam intend to leave Chiswick, west London, to move to what she describes as a "paradise" in the Indian Ocean.
"We were confined on the island while visiting my parents during COVID, and during that time, we really got to know the place from a non-touristic perspective," explained the Zimbabwean-born jewelry designer.
"We are now in the process of settling here [semi] full-time."
Regarding Mauritius, she added, "Many think it is just a holiday destination, but it is so much more. My parents now live there full-time, and spending more time with my children during our recent visits, I discovered a much deeper world that sets the island apart from other tropical destinations like the Maldives or Seychelles."
I had revealed in 2022 that the couple had secretly married, but the location was never disclosed. Chelsy and Sam, who was a year ahead of Harry at Eton College, have a son, Leo, and a daughter, Chloe.
While Meghan's Givenchy wedding dress reportedly cost nearly £200,000, Chelsy shares: "I bought my wedding dress from a hotel shop the day before my wedding, and I was very happy with it."
