Parliament: Children Placed in Hospitals: A System at Breaking Point

MPs Stéphanie Anquetil and Anabelle Savabaddy questioned the Minister for Gender Equality, Arianne Navarre-Marie, regarding the situation of children removed from their family environment and placed in public hospitals, including the Brown-Sequard psychiatric hospital, due to a lack of suitable alternative facilities to accommodate them.

Minister Navarre-Marie acknowledged that shelters, originally intended as temporary solutions, have become permanent places of accommodation.
