Fire in Hong Kong: Death Toll Rises to 75

The Hong Kong government announced on Thursday that the death toll from the fire that ravaged an apartment complex in the territory has risen to 75.

As of 10 PM (2 PM GMT), a government spokesperson informed AFP that "the fire has claimed the lives of 75 individuals," adding that fire services have treated 76 injured persons, including 11 firefighters.
