Bank of Mauritius: Salaries on the Rise and New Direction Under the Governor

The annual report of the Bank of Mauritius (BoM) captures attention every year, especially when it comes to the salaries of its executive team – the governor, his two deputies, the directors, and the chairpersons of its subsidiaries. The edition covering the 12 months ending June 30 was no exception. It also marked a period of unprecedented instability at the top of the institution, with a rapid succession of leadership changes.
