Pointe-aux-Sables: A Neighbor Forced to Care for an Abandoned Newborn

Fabiana, a resident of Pointe-aux-Sables, claims that she has been caring for a baby since September 2nd. Her neighbor Jane, 27, reportedly left her child with Fabiana a few days after giving birth on Saturday, August 23, at Dr. Jeetoo Hospital. A few days later, Jane visited Fabiana with the baby and told her that she didn't want to keep the child: "I don't want the baby. Either you take it, or you put it in a shelter. If it stays with me, I will kill it."
