Telfair Public Beach: Four Trees Cut Down to Ensure a Safe Environment for Users

The cutting down of four trees at Telfair Public Beach in Souillac has not gone unnoticed by Mauritians, and rightly so. However, the insensitivity and lack of response that prevailed under the former government to such citizen complaints are now behind us. The Beach Authority (BA), which is responsible for public beaches in the Republic, is taking action to ensure a safe environment for users.
