Floods in Indonesia: Death Toll Exceeds 500 with Over 500 Missing

The toll from the floods that struck Sumatra Island in western Indonesia has risen further, reaching 502 dead and more than 500 missing, according to the disaster management agency.

This latest update brings the total death toll from recent floods affecting Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka to over 1,000.
