NCE 2025: 70.4% National Pass Rate

The Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) released the results of the National Certificate of Education (NCE) 2025 on Tuesday, December 2nd. The national pass rate stands at 70.43%, with a notable gap between boys and girls. Out of the 15,047 candidates examined across the Republic, 10,598 achieved NQF Level 2.

Girls significantly outperformed boys, with a pass rate of 73.65% compared to 66.93%.

The statistics clearly indicate a markedly better performance among girls, who have consistently excelled in the examination results.
