Foreign Trade: Decline in Exports and Imports in the Third Quarter

Exports and imports decreased in the third quarter of 2025. This was revealed by figures published on November 27 by Statistics Mauritius regarding trade exchanges.

Total exports, including supplies and fuels for ships, reached approximately Rs 26.9 billion, marking a 9% decrease in value compared to the same period in 2024. This decline is primarily attributed to a reduction in the sales of manufactured products.
