[Evening News]: "Grant Thornton has no one to blame"
Summary for Tuesday, December 2, 2025:
• Sattar Hajee Abdoula has been granted conditional release. The FCC did not oppose it. The CEO of Grant Thornton paid two bail amounts of 500,000 rupees and signed an acknowledgment of debt for 1.5 million.
• Malagasy businessman Mamy Ravatomanga will spend his first night in Melrose tonight. His transfer from Victoria Hospital to prison was heavily escorted. This transfer was ordered by the Port-Louis court.
• 70.43%: success rate of the NCE 2025. A slight improvement from last year: 69.05%. Over 15,000 candidates participated. Girls lead with 73% compared to 66% for boys.
