MJ Holidays Strengthens Team Cohesion Through a Sports and Collaborative Day

MJ Holidays, a Mauritian hotel group specializing in managing resorts, suites, and villas with hotel services, organized a team-building event themed "Nature to Recharge". This event invited employees to two days of outdoor activities focused on movement and human connection. Through fun and engaging activities such as nature quizzes, ecological puzzles, and team challenges, employees rediscovered the fundamental values of the group: honesty, versatility, respect, commitment, teamwork, trust, and humility on October 30 and November 18.

In the demanding hospitality sector, how can motivation, health, and team cohesion be maintained? MJ Holidays answers that question with strong shared moments that encourage physical activity and creativity, fostering team spirit. Divided into two teams from the Mythic Suites & Villas (Grand Gaube) and Marguery Villas (Rivière Noire), participants embarked on a collective adventure in the heart of the Vallée de Ferney, followed by a picnic at Blue Bay. The two team-building days, designed by management, aimed to strengthen human bonds among teams and raise awareness about environmental preservation in a participatory spirit.

The activities, crafted internally by several Heads of Department (HOD), were also designed as a managerial coaching lever. "Our employees are the heart of our success. Providing them with moments that nourish both body and spirit is an investment in their health, motivation, and personal growth," emphasizes Isabelle Descroizilles, Managing Director of MJ Holidays.

Creative and Engaging Activities

The activities allowed everyone to move, think, create, and collaborate. The "Nature Quest at Ferney" invited participants to tackle quizzes and puzzles about Mauritius' endemic flora and fauna, while the "Mission Puzzle Nature" engaged collective intelligence to piece together the symbolic phrase: "Together, we are more than the sum of our talents." The day concluded on a fun and friendly note with the game "Catch the Cup" at Blue Bay, a shared moment of laughter and relaxation.
