Get your umbrellas and raincoats ready! The meteorological station has issued a heavy rain advisory for Mauritius, valid until 5:00 AM tomorrow, Friday, December 5.
The atmospheric conditions are gradually becoming humid and unstable in our region, leading to the formation of active clouds. Moderate and localized showers, temporarily heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms, are expected.
As such, a heavy rain advisory is in effect for Mauritius. Temporary water accumulations are possible in flood-prone areas. Visibility may be reduced due to fog and showers in certain regions.
The public is advised to:
